Descrição:
This dataset contains experimental data generated from laboratory cavitation erosion tests on aluminum specimens using a cavitation jet apparatus (CJA). The collected data include pit counts and pit density (pits/cm²), obtained from post-test surface observations and used to quantify erosion damage. The experimental program investigated the influence of two key parameters, standoff distance and nozzle geometry, using three standoff distances and seven nozzle geometries. The raw measurements were organized in spreadsheets and processed for statistical analysis in XLSX format, supporting data interpretation, reproducibility, and the PhD research project on cavitation erosion resistance.
