Descrição:
Compared with other imaging modalities, ultrasonography (US) is considered the most operator-dependent technique. Adequate understanding of acoustic properties and ultrasound system operation is essential to obtain high-resolution images of structures of interest, thereby increasing diagnostic accuracy and avoiding inadvertent injury to critical structures during image-guided procedures. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of probe angulation, focal zone position, and object depth on measurement accuracy in US imaging.
