This collection of files contains data related to the research "Why mobile apps get rejected: an empirical analysis of causes, impacts on development processes, and developer coping strategies".
The files include:
1. The complete dataset for the qualitative study, examining the impact of app stores' review processes on development flows. The study was conducted using a Grounded Theory approach and includes three main types of artifacts: codebook, interview scripts and theory instances;
2. The results for the issues and guidelines classification from a study, part of the same research, examining how developers respond to app rejections and removals resulting from app stores' review processes. The study employed automated search techniques using the GitHub API to identify mobile repositories and issues related to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store review processes, policies, and guidelines. The automated search results are also available in this repository.
3. The source code for additional software tools developed through the research
