The aim of this ex vivo study was to analyze the expression of artifacts generated by a titanium healing abutment coated with poly-ether-ether-ketone (PEEK) in cone-beam computed tomography images, as well as to assess the effectiveness of the metal artifact reduction tool under this condition.
