Pressure, temperature and time datasets related to the measurement of equilibrium conditions of methane hydrates in the presence of protic ionic liquids (PILs) at 10 wt% and 20 wt%. There is also data on systems containing both PILs and mono-ethylene-glycol (MEG) as thermodynamic inhibitors both at 5 wt% (10 wt% total inhibitor). These data are associated with the PhD thesis titled "Protic Ionic Liquids as Gas Hydrate Inhibitors".
