This study explores the association between Developmental and Epileptic Encephalopathy (DEE) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aiming to identify characteristic signs and symptoms in affected children and analyze the diagnostic process. Given that DEE often leads to cognitive and behavioral impairments, distinguishing ASD symptoms can be challenging due to overlapping neurological deficits. A scoping review was conducted, evaluating 3,770 abstracts. The data cannot be made available due to considerations related to the ongoing project.
