Com o objetivo de avaliar o crescimento de árvores de eucalipto e do bordão-de-velho em sistemas de integração pecuária-floresta (IPF) em Porto Velho, Rondônia, foi implantada uma unidade de referência tecnológica (URT) no Campo Experimental pertencente à Embrapa Rondônia nas coordenas geográficas (8° 48' 26,61” S 63° 51' 01,68” O), a qual abrange duas áreas (7 ha cada) de pastagem cultivada há mais de 10 anos com Urochloa brizantha ‘Marandu’. Uma das áreas foi arborizada com bordão-de-velho (Samanea tubulosa) e, a outra, com eucalipto (Eucalyptus pellita). O solo foi classificado como Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo distrófico e o clima como Am (classificação de Köppen). As árvores foram arranjadas em linhas duplas dentro de dois renques centrais de 300 m de comprimento e 10 m de largura, alinhados no sentido NO-SE (azimute de 320º). O espaçamento utilizado foi de 6,0 m entre linhas e 3,5 m entre plantas. Foram feitas medições aos 6, 12, 18, 31, 43, 51 e 60 meses após o plantio. No arquivo Dados_arvores_60 meses.xlsx existem duas planilhas, uma traz informações gerais sobre o período de plantio e número de mudas de cada espécie plantadas, bem como de tratos culturais realizados dentro do período das avaliações; na outra planilha são apresentados os valores das medidas tomadas nas árvores de bordão-de-velho e eucalipto nos diferentes períodos relativos às datas de plantio, de acordo com as seguintes descrições: altura total (Ht) aos 6 meses; Ht e diâmetro a 1,30 m do solo (DAP) aos 12 meses; Ht, DAP e raio da copa (RC) aos 18 meses; a Ht, DAP e os RC no sentido leste-oeste (RC1) e norte-sul (RC2) aos 31 meses; a Ht, DAP, RC1 e RC2 aos 43 meses; os RC1, RC2 e a intensidade de luz (LUX) sob as copas aos 51 messes; e Ht, DAP, altura comercial (Hc) e diâmetro de copa (DC) aos 60 meses após o plantio das árvores. Considerou-se como altura comercial (Hc) a altura do solo até o primeiro galho ou bifurcação. |

With the objective of evaluating the growth of eucalyptus and bordão-de-velho trees in livestock-forest integration system (LFI) in Porto Velho, Rondônia, a technological reference unit (TRU) was implemented in the Experimental Field belonging to Embrapa Rondônia in the coordination geographic areas (8° 48' 26.61” S 63° 51' 01.68” W), which covers two areas (7 ha each) of pasture cultivated for more than 10 years with Urochloa brizantha 'Marandu'. One of the areas was afforested with bordão-de-velho (Samanea tubulosa) and the other with eucalyptus (Eucalyptus pellita). The soil was classified as dystrophic Red-Yellow Latosol and the climate as Am (Köppen classification). The trees were arranged in double lines within two central rows 300 m long and 10 m wide, aligned in a NE-SE direction (azimuth of 320º). Planting spacing was 6.0 m between rows and 3.5 m among plants. Measurements were taken at 6, 12, 18, 31, 43, 51 and 60 months after planting. In the file dados_arvores_60 months.xlsx two spreadsheets are presented. One provides general information about the planting period and number of seedlings of each species planted, as well as cultural treatments carried out within the evaluation period; the other spreadsheet presents the values of the measurements taken on the bordão-de-velho and eucalyptus trees in the different periods relative to the planting dates, according to the following descriptions: total height (Ht) at 6 months; Ht and diameter at 1.30 m above the ground (DBH) at 12 months; Ht, DBH and crown radius (CR) at 18 months; Ht, DBH and CR in the east-west (CR1) and north-south (CR2) direction at 31 months; Ht, DBH, CR1 and CR2 at 43 months; CR1, CR2 and light intensity (LUX) under the canopy at 51 months; and Ht, DBH, commercial height (Hc) and crown diameter (DC) at 60 months after planting the trees. Commercial height (Hc) was considered to be the height from the ground to the first branch or fork. |
